I have been teaching middle and high school science for about 30 years. In that time, I have had fantastic opportunities to teach in public high schools, private high schools and even to homeschool our two children. Over the years, I have had the privilege to teach with some incredible colleagues who have inspired me to reach new heights and never be satisfied with the status quo.
My favorite subjects are Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry. I marvel at God’s creation each year as I teach Biology. I am consistently in awe of how He fearfully and wonderfully made the human body when I teach Anatomy and Physiology and how He holds everything together with atomic structures when I teach Chemistry. Amazing!
I am married to a wonderful man who has definitely kept life exciting for the past 28 years. We have been blessed with two children who are now grown and have been a joy at all ages. (Well, junior high was less joyful than others, but that is to be expected!)
I love reading, running 5k’s, doing Zumba (although it’s quite laughable) and attempting to cook healthy foods that also taste delicious.
